JoJo's Bistro Grill House is located in Senegambia but you would think it was the eating house of the Gods. The menu has been collated with great care and offers some of the greatest food available in Gambia. This fantastic restaurant is run by JoJo herself and her high qualities and standards are obviously shared by all of her staff. A three course meal and beverages is on average around £25 per person and is most definately worth every penny.
The Food
Jojo works very hard to source the best that is available in the Gambia, the freshest seafood and the prime cuts of meat are a standard offering. The magicians she calls Chefs produce wonderfully fresh and very tasty dishes that would make even the driest of mouths to water.
The fillet steak (tenderloin) is unsurpassable anywhere in the world and deserves a special mention, if you do anything in Gambia then it MUST be to try this dish. I promise you will not be disappointed.
The Atmosphere
You will find a smiling and friendly welcome from every member of staff as soon as you walk through the gates of this heavenly establishment. There is always entertainment either from European style bands or the more traditional African/Gambian entertainers. The level of service given by the waiters is of the quality normally found in major hotels and restaurants in Europe, their obvious good training adds to the total experience that is Jojo's.
