Chicken Yassa
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 large tablespoon butter
- 1 green/red pepper or chilli (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon Mustard
- 2 bay leaves, 1 tsp crushed pepper corn
- 1 lemon
- 1 chicken stock cube
Directions Cut chicken into small pieces, add juice of lemon and a pinch of salt. Add chopped onion and butter. Add all other ingredients, cover and marinade in the fridge for 1 - 2 hours. Add to hot frying pan and cook until chicken is well cooked. Dish up and garnish with sliced tomatoes and lemon. Serve, of course, with rice and eat with your hands. |
